Hi, the phrases "john" and "user" in several passages are replaced by "your own username" now. (also updated some links on that occasion) ;) Meant is your own home directory in that pathes. If you don't exactly know, "who you are", you can check out your username by typing whoami in a terminal, and then insert the output into the pathes.

hello everybody! I'm a newbie of linux and I'm a italian so I dont't speak englesh very well!

I s correct this point: ./configure --prefix=/home/john/aMule/ --disable-gtk2 --with-gtk && make && make install

Who's john?I must put my user name or john is a special path? Thank you very much! bye!
